First day of 2012.

It's time to reflect back what I had done in year 2011.

1. Ended my AIESEC EB term 2010/2011 in mid-April.
2. Internship at PSI Incontrol, Sungai Buloh. It's my first real-world working experience, but don't really enjoy that company culture.
3. Backpack to Penang & Langkawi.
4. Gained facilitating experience as LTF member term 2011/2012 and TtF conference.
4. Visited places like Kota Tinggi Waterfall, Desaru & Tanjung Balau, Desa City Park (Kepong).
5. Went Kukup twice. With "8233 Gangs Rockzzz" at first week of new semester and "DDPians" at new-year eve.

Now I realize I don't really have a great 2011 cause not many meaningful moment exist.
It's just not enough achievement for a year and I had wasted it.
I wanna change and It's time to change!!

Diploma DDP-gang

I know them during my diploma study at UTM KL International Campus. They are the peoples that I been together for 3 years - 36 months - 1095 days - 26280 hours - 1576800 minutes or 94608000 seconds. We meet each other almost 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

There are lots of memorable things in my mind.

- We studied together, at cafeteria, lecture hall, PSZ library...

- We always have our meal together, at Fei-po stall, at RM2.80, at Wangsa Maju

- We always ajak each other go night market at every Thursday, at Setapak Jaya

- We watched movie together at our favorite hang-out hot spot - Times Square and KLCC

- We always go sing-K at Redbox or GreenBox

- We love to take do posing while taking photos together, still remember the photos taken at Yayasan Selangor building? videos at cafeteria playing jingle jingle? all types of weird but funny photos during every birthday celebration?

- We like to jokes around, so that we always stay happy and cheerful

- We went vacation together, like the Pangkor Trip as well as the CNY 3-house visit LouSang trip

Just can't really express my feeling with words. I felt that we do care for each others. These 3-years time had make me realize our friendship is like a plant seed, and it will keep continue growing no matter where we are living right now.

Till then, JieHow, Cyrus, Chengxu, TauShen, Lawrence, Ming, Nanny, YeeLing, AMei, Polly, YikThien, LiTing, HuiRu and Joanne, take care and stay healthy!! Looking forward to our gathering =)

1st Trip to Singapore

People: Me, LinMing, HuiRu, YeeLing, ShiYiing, SzeHue, YiLung, Casey, ZiangLoong, Chengxu, Cyrus, Jieko and WeiYing

It’s my first visit to Singapore, feel excited throughout this trip.
Besides that, we also glad to have Jko to join us in this trip to Singapore.
We pay a visit to places like Orchard Road (Ion Orchard shopping mall), Chinatown, Marina Square Shopping Mall and City Hall plus Merlion Statue.
It’s a one day trip; we don’t have enough time to visit other places and the weather condition was bad - raining heavily. Hopefully next time we still can visit other interesting places like Sentosa theme park and also walk around some famous street. (Singapore is just next to Johor only =P)
And I do enjoy this trip we my ex-course mate and also present course mate.

These are the things that I noticed throughout the trip,
- The escalators in Singapore have the speed X2 of Malaysia escalator, mean very fast!!
- People walk very fast, especially in MRT station and also at the kastam department.
- Expensive stuff… Ha-ha

Since i enter UTM Johor, I joined AIESEC (it's an international organization for people to discover and develop their potential leadership skill and it's available in 110 country). AIESEC also offer exchange opportunity to AIESEC-er.. =D

Now i'm allocated under the Non-Corporate Relation (NCR) department, where the main task is doing project related with issue like HIV, Environment and Entrepuership. The project that I involve in is the STEP (Save The Environment, People!).

It's been a busy week for me...

Since the starting of this new semester, i have take the initiative to join clubs and society so that i can know more people, have more friends and also learn something new...

till now, i had joined several clubs which i think it's a bit over already and might affect my study...

UTM, Skudai

with my family, i come all the way from KL to JohorBahru, Skudai to enter Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

it's a 4 hours drive from KL to reach here. UTM Skudai, is a very big place. all the kolej (hostel) are far from each others, especially my college (Kolej Tuanku Canselor) to the female hostel (KDSE)... damn far!!

having a two days orientation now..

Received call from Universiti Teknologi Petronas to go for the EduCamp 2009 at UTP Tronoh, Perak.

at first, just want to have a try to apply to other universiti to see if my qualification is accepted by other uni or not.. but now get the offer to attend the camp, so i decided to go and have a look there..

Finally, I had graduated as a diploma student in University Technology Malaysia (UTM International Campus).

这三年所有有趣的事，对我来说将会是一个美好的回忆。
在这里，我认识了DDP，也认识了这系里的另外16个华人学生。与我同班的Jieko, Cyrus, ChengXu, AMei, LinMing, ShiYing, YeeLing, MunWei, Polly和 YukThien，还有另一班的TauShen, Lawrence, HuiRu, LiTing, KheatYeng 和Michelle.
通过PMB我也认识了其他系的朋友，我的室友 Leo, DDA的, DDB的, DDE的, DDJ的, DDT的等等。
非常感谢他们这三年来的照顾和体谅。
在这我要非常谢谢灵敏，因为她在某些科目上的教导，使我得到了不错的成绩。
还有诗莹，因为她替我做的那两张生日卡，让我知道原来你们是记得我的生日，也让我觉得很感动。

当时的我正在café温习着Telecommunication，因为我的生日就代表Final Exam的开始

就当时间到了凌晨十二点，阿妹就第一个call过来了（电话的里面还有yikthien and michelle的声音），然后就是在café和我一起温习的杰豪，Cyrus，灵敏和莉亭唱生日歌给我听，然后从Block C传来了一首生日歌- 原来是俊凯，文星和琪发。

21st April 2009

早上，开始了第一天的Final Exam。
晚上，我们十个人一起跑去lowyat的redbox唱K。
大家都蛮high一下，我也发觉原来玉恬适这么摇滚地。
真的要很感谢很感谢大家给我这个难忘的一晚。
阿妹说要去唱K，Cyrus 也要去唱K
诗莹做了一张很特别很大张的生日卡给我，灵敏不喜欢唱K的也出席了而且还有一张生日卡，莉亭也做了一张生日卡，虽然惠茹没来但她也有一张生日卡给我。
晚上还与几位朋友通电话到凌晨2.30am，而且也是第一次讲电话讲超过五分钟（这次至少有半小时）

在这一天里面，我还收到一些好久都没联络的朋友的简讯。在这要非常感谢他们!!

now everyone had graduate and went back to their hometown...
but dunno why i choose to stay in hostel and taking 3P course (Adobe Flash CS3)..
gonna spend another 3 weeks in this empty hostel, while others may enjoying their holidays somewhere else...

it's been a long time i didn't meet with my secondary school friends.. so we decided to have a gathering during chinese new year... as usual, our purpose is to meet and chi-chat with old friends, receiving ang pao, eat and drink during gambling session... :D

3 days 2 nights trip

A sudden decision from nan quan baba (me, YL, LM, SY) during dinner time at wantan mee stall, – to visit my house at Taman Ehsan, Kepong and have a pre chinese new year reunion dinner with coursemate.

Decide on Monday night, spread the news on Tuesday, call back home to inform my family on Wednesday and start our trip on Friday till Sunday…
Almost everyone from 3DDP joined, except 3 person from my section… (total 14 people, 12 person staying at my house)

During the first day (Friday), went to eat Ais Kacang at Taman Ehsan. Then went for dinner at the Curve - 龙的传人.

The second day, we drive to Rawang to visit Cy’s house and his dog… had lunched there before we went to One Utama for some shopping while looking for the steamboat stuff.
I bought my first jeans at Romp, it cost me RM90…
Then we went to JKo house for Lou Sang and steamboat dinner.

On the third day, we went back to Wangsa Maju LRT station. Have our lunch here and window shopping at Jusco.

The End…

It’s a tiring but happy weekend.
Thanks for coming to my house.
Thanks for joining - it’s difficult to get so many people together and have such a memorable trip.
Thanks for trusting me to drive for a long distance journey, experiencing a crowded and bad traffic.
And thanks for breaking a record - 7 people riding a car at one time…

That Sunday night I also went to UKM KL branch for Pesta Ang-Pao, saw Yee-Ching (secondary school friend) performing break-dance on the stage

After 8 years graduated from primary school, this is the first time i joined the gathering..
It’s nice to have such a gathering after so many years, although i already forgot some of their name...
this gathering held at 1U 旺角茶餐厅, around 30 people...

Japan Trip

this is the first time following my mother go outstation.. staying there for a week, went to several major cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe..

15th of December 11.30pm
departed at KLIA.. taking MAS Airline Business Class to Tokyo, takes about 6 hours 45 minutes.. first time taking business class, quite interesting for me.. inside the cabin there's a small TV and music player on each seat.. you can order whatever drinks you want, free magazines and newspaper.. but it's midnight, who cares about those stuff when you really want to sleep already??!

16th of December
arrived at Tokyo about 7.00am Japan Time, meet with the staff from the overseas brach office.. we went to the Tokyo Imperial Hotel and check-in.. they start their very first meeting at the office while i sneak inside a room to have a nap.. we have our lunch at a Japanese restaurant, served us with tempura and double layer’s cold noodle with soya sos (it’s like one bowl of noodle put on another bowl of noodle, when you finished the ‘upstairs’ , there’s another at the‘downstairs’). On my first day here, I just walked around the hotel at night while my mother went for meeting.

17th of December
One of the stuff from the office will be my guide… she bring me to a place name Shibuya. It’s one of the busiest places in Tokyo, and similar with out Bukit Bintang where you can find many branded shop… there’s a road junction where each time the traffic light turn red, around thousand of people crossing the road at one time… I didn’t manage to take a photo during that time cause it’s raining and there’s really lots of people walking around me… then she bring me back to Yurokochu and we had Italian food as lunch…
On the evening, a Japanese guide brings me to浅草. There’s a temple named Asakusa Sensoji Temple. It’s a temple where Japanese will pray and celebrate their new year there by wearing their own traditional costume. 我还在那用100yen摇了一支签, 是一支“大吉”的签. Then we went to Ueno market where people are selling fresh seafood. There’s all kinds of fish, abalone, long leg crab, short leg crab, prawn and the unique one – octopus. Next stop is Akihabara (秋叶原), also known as Electronic Town. any electronic stuff that you can think of it, you can find it here… we had Japanese tendon as dinner before going back to Yurokochu.

18th of December
We went to 100 yen shop, all stuff inside the shop cost only 100 yen (RM4). This is the cheapest shop you can find in Japan. Saw lots of teenager around that area, some with the cosplay costume and some with the school uniform… nothing to do on this day, just walked around hotel area and at night I watched Manchester United match against one of the Japan’s league team inside hotel.

19th of December
Today will be going to Osaka 大阪 by riding bullet train called 新干线. It takes about 2 hours 30 minutes from Tokyo to Osaka and during this journey I saw the Fuji Mountain. It’s beautiful and the upper side of the mountain is cover by snow… arrived at Osaka and check-in at Ana Crown Hotel. The director of the Osaka’s branch office brings us to a Japanese restaurant, having Japanese Sushi with Tempura, first time having sushi in Japan, very nice…
At night went to the function organized by TM… French buffet and Malaysia food, with unlimited Sake… nothing to do except eating non-stop…

20th of December
Went to Kyoto (京都)… visit several world heritage places like 三十三间堂 Sanjusangen-do (means a hall with thirty-three spaces between columns). Built in 1164 and reconstrusted in 1266. this temple has 1001 statues of Buddhist plus 30 different stutues of god.
Then we went to a small restaurant, which only serve 10 person at a time for tempura lunch. It’s quite famous in Kyoto since the tourist manual did mentioned about it. The chef is surrounded by a long table for 10 person, then he will cook the tempura in front of you. The ingredient are fresh and it’s delicious.
The next destination is Nijo Castle (Nijo-jo), also an UNESCO world heritage site. Built in 1603 as the residence of first Tokugawa Shogun ( Japan warrior as the emperor – military government). Beautiful scene inside here as the garden was well decorated and maintain, just like the original one.
Then is The Golden Pavillion – Rokuon-Ji Temple (金阁鹿苑寺). It was the comfortable villa or known as holiday villa for the Shogun. It’s a three-storey building with 2nd and 3rd floor are covered with gold-leaf and there’s a Chinese phoenix settles is attached with singles.
Then is the Ryoanji Temple 龙安寺 – a simple rock garden, consisting only of white sand and fifteen rocks. Its simple beauty will inspire philosophical meditation. Now I still not really understand what is the guide trying to explain about.

Since today is the last day of the trip, the Osaka’s branch office director bring us to a Indonesian style restaurant to have a Indonesian style dinner. I also saw a pair of japanese couple having their Bali style wedding inside this restaurant, wearing traditional malay custume.

21th of December
We went to Kansai International Airport and ready to fly back to Malaysia at 11am. But unfortunately the flight had delay for more than 7 hours, we had no choice but to walk around that area. So we went to Kobe (神户), do some shopping here, enjoying the sea-view and took some photo. We had a Pakistan style lunch here in Kobe and visit a mosque, which it survived from the world war 2 and the Kobe big earth quake few years ago.
Finally the flight departed from Kansai International Airport at 8.30pm and arrived in KLIA at 2.00am in the morning…

After the Japan trip, I see so many new things and understand that it’s great to learn other’s country cultural . it had widen my mind and I really appreciate every moment in Japan. Thanks to Nurul and that japanese lady for being my tour guide!! I would love to say that: “Japan, I will be back!!”

then it will be my last semester of diploma study.. what will happen after that?? nobody knows but i really need to think about it..

anyway,
last week went to a cultural camp organized by 雪隆潮州会馆, as one of the committee member.. my job is like a babysitter - looking after a group of camp member.. it's fun and you have the chance to know people from different schools, different age and different places.. this camp is the most relaxing camp i had ever joined, any activity will stop at 10pm and you can go back to your room to do anything you want (boring).. throughout this camp, we pay a visit to several places around kl area, played some station game, having a camp fire plus 放孔明灯 and autograph session on the last day after the camp closing ceremony.. well, it's another memorable camp for me..

packing my stuff right now, tonight will begin my one week trip to Japan (just me :D )
then another few days in Ipoh, then time to move my house, then back to Uni for class..

Trip to Pulau Pangkor

after transmission system final paper, we are ready to start our very first 9-people trip to Pulau Pangkor...
3 days 2 night
people who joined --> ME, JH, Cyrus, Mei, LM, LT, HR, 10, CX
RM 150 Budget for each person, with souvenir, accommodation, transport, entertainment, meals and a birthday cake..

our first destination, Ayer Tawar --> a place located at Perak, half an-hour from Lumut...
LM - our guide, bring us around that area, finding special or popular food in Ayer Tawar... her mother also cooked us a delicious dinner, especially the 红酒鸡

on the next day, we went to Pangkor... here we focus on beach, sea-food and last but not least entertainment...

yup, it's another memorable trip for every ddp-ians who joined.. (of course la, taken so many photo dy - around 600 +/-)

Microprocessor Final Project Presentation, after weeks of failure and error the most important day had arrived… either live or die, it will cost us 25 marks which will then contribute to this subject final grade… luckily with the help from course mate, my microp project works and my group also managed to answer those ‘tricky’ question from the lecturer… Thank god!!
It’s a big relieve for me, Xixi and Xuxu :D
At night, need to finish up the electronic II assignment before it’s too late… Wanna thank SYiing for doing most of the job… next time can I join your assignment again??!

Thursday
Skipping class because of the Malam Kebudayaan Cina (MKC)… gather at 6.30am, then helping those 道具佬 moving their things into the lorry and send to Stadium ChinWoo. It’s a busy day for everyone who involve in this program. Setting up the background, doing rehearsal for the performance and fulfilling every demand from Kenzo, (you will know how busy it was if you are there). Working from morning 6.30am till another morning 3am..

Friday – 24th of October 2008
Skipping class again… A big day for PMB UTMKL … a day that everyone had waited and prepared for more then six months… again gathers at 6.30am, again moving stuff from kolej and campus to ChinWoo, again finishing up every un-finish job before the opening ceremony… it’s been a long day
Around 8.30pm, opening of MKC… after hearing those speeches from 4 or 5 people, the long waiting show finally started… from the reaction from the crowd, we know that people are paying attention to the performance!!
Congratulate for the success of this event!!! Each committee member working so hard to make sure this program going smooth without any problem…

This is how I finished the last week of my 5th semester, before the final exam… busy and tired, but i enjoyed this... 充实的生活

It's been a busy month for everyone...

As usual, can't get away with assignment, presentation and test.
For non-academic, there's a lot of stuff to prepare for the Malam Kebudayaan Cina. But of course the busiest people would be those performer, they need to do practice on every Tuesday and Thursday night and whole day for every Saturday and Sunday.

Well, last Thursday I fall a sick... and I almost miss my electronic test due to this reason. I think it's cause by the maggi goreng I ate the day before. I will never eat that again...

Luckily there's a bunch of friends who cares about me...

Even though it's just a simple word like "Are you OK?" or a helping hand from them would make me feel comfortable.

So i want to thanks everyone who helps me during that suffering time, especially BS (my MK's group leader) and his traditional medicine and of course my section mate and course mate... somemore got fruits and wantan mee from them...

why both of them always argue with each other??

everyone around them also don't know what's the point they are 'fighting' for... suddenly will argued among themselves, maybe just because of a piece of graph paper..

let's call them Xixi and Xuxu... which according to the monthly magazine of PMB.. when they pair up - also known as Lews (Xixi + Xuxu = Lews = 尿屎一族)

both are stubborn, dont like to listen and accept each others opinion - especially in academic... but don't know it's the fate or what, they also paired up as a group in lab, assignment and presentation

For example,
through my observation and some tips from the guy which same group with them in the lab,

when Xi get a reading from an experiment, Xu will doubt about it... like don't trust his ability..

both also like to order each other to do something, but both also don't want to do...

Xu will always compared those experiment reading with other group, when there's a different the first thing he say will be other's answer are wrong (sometimes his correct but sometimes he's wrong too) just hope that he double check the answer before telling people about it..

in a 3 person group, the middle one always in dilemma.. let's say Xi have his own idea, Xu also have his own idea - then they will ask the middle guy which decision will he follow... it's like if agree with A, B will bu shuang ; if agree with B, A will bu shuang...

there's some other example that can't be explained.. you need to see by yourself, then maybe you will understand what i'm trying to say..

haiz... i lost my mobile phone last saturday...
when i coming back from KLCC PC Fair, there's lot of people inside the KTM.. everyone squeeze like sardin inside the old and bad condition train... then during these station to station journey back home, dunno which fun cheong took my phone... wat the ****..

i noticed that most of the passenger of KTM are foreigner worker, dunno whether is legal or illegal one.. and KTM is the worst transportation available in our country - the train always delayed and don't have air-cond inside the train.. people will feel frustrated inside the train because it's hot, it's pack with people and poeple waited so long for a train to come..

from now on, i have a freak impression about KTM... i will try to avoid taking KTM - if can...
but 旧的不去，新的不来 - it's time to find a new phone...

Steamboat Night

28th of July 2008, we had decided to go for steamboat dinner as part of the celebration for JieKo's birthday...

the place is Setapak's 电话饭店 (Restoran Telefon), which is located not far from our hostel... we even try to invite all our course member but unfortunately our second year junior can't joined us... but nevermind, there's 17 out of 20 people from ddp...

about 6.30pm, we gathered at our hostel and then took taxi to that place... then our dinner start!!!
everyone just eat, eat and eat since it's a all-you-can-eat steamboat restaurant... got fish ball, sotong ball, chicken ball, pork ball, fish, chicken, lamb, vege and meat... ice-cream and fruits also provided...

but the most interesting part is the photo session, everyone is crazy about taking photo... all kinds of action and emotion on each person face...

actually it's the same day with the PMB's camp. but after thinking here and there, i had decide to go genting with them, but i had a though to join that camp too... well, just can choose one between two of this, it's hard for me...

about the camp, every year PMB will organized and welcome everyone to join. and of course i participate in it. i enjoyed it because this is the only outdoor activity that available throughout the whole year. actually i wanna go...

on the other hand, it's the genting trip... actually i had waited for this trip for more than two months. but at this moment, not every coursemate join us. CX and YT dunno why don't want to go, Po and JH are busy with their own stuff. felt disappointed cause some of them are not joining us. and at this moment, we still can't book any room at first world or any other hotel that located nearby. frustrated with current situation... HAIZ... for no solution...

New Semester

class start already.. i still in section 11, still have the same section mate and course mate, and still having the same problem... currently staying at the same place, UTM's hostel at Setapak Jaya - near Sri Rampai or Wangsa Maju.

now still don't have roommate, so i own the whole room. actually this room just above my previous room and outside the window there's some interesting landmark - like "Paris Tower" and mini "Titiwangsa Lake".

during the first two week of the new semester, i and my course mate been to many places like singing k at sungai wang, watch movie at klcc, having chicken chop rice at wangsa, went shopping at JJ and currently planning to go Genting. we enjoyed the first two week cause after this, we all are busy with our classes. there are more than 3 different kind of lab in a week, especially this most challenging one - microprocessor lab, which we need to design and create something that controllable through the microprocessor that we program ourselves. another project is the website development which we need to create a website on our own.

let's wish this semester will be fun and interesting.

5 Days to go…

Holidays end soon… another 120 hours or 7200 minutes or 432000 seconds and I will back to university to start a brand new semester.

This is my final year as a diploma student. Another year to go and I will graduate as a diploma holder.

After received the new timetable, I would say it’s a busy semester for everyone. There will be non-stop lecture, lab, quiz, assignment, presentation and exam. Sure got lots of theory to understand and memorize again in subject with four credits like microprocessor.

What can I said about my holidays? Not interesting at all… the only thing that I can impress other is I ate economic-rice everyday – 日日挨饭盒.

But now it’s time to pack my things and ready for the new semester, new challenges and new problem. (There’s some unsolved problem occurred among ddpians that need to be solve, soon)

I will be back with new attitude…

Petrol price increase - 汽油涨价

5th of June, 2008

from today onwards, people had to pay RM2.70 per liters for the petrol fuel.

This is the first time in the history of Malaysia for the increase rate, 78sen at a time. (if compare to the previous one, 10sen, 20sen, or 40sen).

A day before this happen, there’s a minister who said that the price won’t increase until August. But things change dramatically when PM announced the petrol price.Just to show the different, a simple calculation here.

If a car need 50 liters,
Before: RM1.92 per liters. Total price: 1.92 X 50 = 96
After: RM2.70 per liters. Total price: 2.70 X 50 = 135

It’s totally a burden for Malaysian, especially those who drives.

Other than this, there’s another bad news coming. The electricity price for the peninsular west would increase too. Reason – the company’s cost to generate power had increase due to the petrol price.

Well, just wish everyone can survive and overcome things that gonna happen since everything would become more expensive for the coming days. And learn to SAVE – 节俭.

?? any chance that money will drop from the sky ?? just like what happened in Indonesia.

Semester 4 result - II

Oh my God, the result for the 4th semester out already. Just checked it out, and guess what?! I get B+ for Institusi-institusi Islam (II), means 3.33 for this subject. That’s why I hate this kind of subject. During class, the lecturer didn’t teach anything but always doing forum - a forum that talked about crap. Honestly, for the whole semester, I didn’t get information or knowledge about this subject (and I also don’t wish I can understand it, since everything is about Islam).

I hate myself for not paying attention to the crap forum.

I hate this subject because it’s about how good is your memory to memorize things, and I hate to memorize thing. (Everyone know that I have temporary memory)

I hate for getting low marks for my assignment. (20/30) – which does affects a lot to my final marks.

And I hate that I get B+ for this subject and not A- or even better, A.

*feeling frustrated.

When every semester ends, my course mate would go somewhere to celebrate. Same goes to this semester. It’s been a hard time for us nowadays since this semester is the busiest one, with non-stop exam, assignment and presentation. There’s also some unwanted incident happened around us which testing someone’s friendship level and their patience.

Actually this time our celebration is not going as smooth as we thought. “Problem” had occurred and causing someone not happy with certain people’s decision. I felt like this group of people is not the same group we had for the past three semesters and someone friendship is reaching critical level.

Whatever is it, let’s forget those unhappy experience and just focus on the happy things. On this finished-final exam day, we went to RedBox to express ourselves and dinner at Nando’s Chicken restaurant. And my course-mate were celebrating birthday for me, KY and YT. (Although it’s a bit late for my birthday)

Anyway, this semester had ended and I hope that people would appreciate friendship among themselves. Next year would be our last year to study, play and hang around together since we will be having our final-year for diploma and after that your all may going to pursue your own dreams at different places. Peace!!!

东禅寺一日游

四月六日(星期日)

终于考完Test 1, Test 2 和 Test 3 了...

今天参加 UTMKL 在东禅寺所举办的佛学会.

大约早上七点多大家就集合在巴士站, 然后搭上UTM的巴士出发.

大约一个半小时后，我们抵达了东禅寺。经过师兄的讲解后，我们一天的活动就开始了.

有修禅，抄经，念经，游戏，参观佛陀舍利子,参观东禅寺的小人国和那些蛮漂亮的花园.

当然还有听东禅寺的师傅们讲解佛理和人生应有的生活态度.

晚上八点多,我们就准备离开东禅寺,回到Setapak的宿舍去.

well, actually i also dunno that i can act... but after this activity, i'm sure that i can act especially comedy...

this is a activity that was plan for chinese new year celebration, but was delay to 22nd of Feb due to exam... for this drama, we had practice for more than 10 times... each time rehearsal also got different effects. it's fun and we can act free-style, add anything you want as long as it's funny and attractive.

this drama was created and acted by the four main character -> Me (三师兄), JieHow (二师兄), AWen (师傅) and Jeric (大师兄)... with the combination of our four people, this drama was successfully presented and received lots of positive feedbacks...

新年就在不自不觉的情况下开始了。。。
但也不自不觉地结束了。。。

我觉得今年的华人农历新年没有什么新年气氛。

遇见的人少了，炮竹的声音也少了。
这几天就好像是一个比较特别的周末，大家都放假回乡，电视节目比平常多了一些，对面的邻居比平常吵了一点，还有就是桌上的干粮比平常上的干粮多了很多。。。

但我就是感觉不到新年的气氛，没有以前那种说不出的快乐，也没有以前那种‘爽’的感觉。
可能是假期后，大学有考试吧 - 无心温习，也无心过年；又或者是今年可能没办法与老友相聚一起去拜年，全都因为那 - 从初五就要开始担心至元宵节后 - 的考试。。。

快乐的是这几天都在忙 - 忙着吃东西。

yesterday after class, i and my course mate went to 大人餐厅 at Sungai Wang there for lunch... we also having "Yee Sang" there since we have a 50% discount voucher. after that we went for shopping, or i should say window shopping since nothing special activity after lunch... went to Pavilion, Lowyat, Sungai Wang and Times Square... lots of people and those shopping mall full of Chinese New Year decoration, everywhere red in color and you can see ''mouse" everywhere...

i went there for PMB's Camp, an activity which i waited for a long long time... it's a two day one night camp with members from first year, second year and third year to join and play around... this year location is Pantai Indah, but actually the name is totally different from the environment. the beach was sucks, the view there still acceptable, the whether was shiny and ok... the best part was the apartment that we stayed... it's a apartment with 2 rooms, 2 bathroom, 1 kitchen and 1 balcony... also equip with air-cond, kettle, microwave and TV... this is the best camp's room i had ever stayed...

well, during this camp... i'm one of the AJK and responsible with one of the game session - IQ Test

me and my partner came out with lots of IQ question - from our daily schoollife, some general knowledge and a little help from some friends... this will be a PK mode - two group compete with each others... person who gave the wrong answer will get punishment from AJK - gallons of water from the swimming pool next to us will be used to 'put' them... our main objective is to make it fun and make all people wet!!! in the end, our objective achieved, but it's over achieved because everyone wet, and we also being pushed into the pool... one word for it --> 爽!!!

there are other games like 辣辣面包边个吃 and catch those little crab from the beach to make a Chinese word!!! it's difficult since those crab will move away from you while you are making a word...

at night, we are having a BBQ dinner... chicken wing, hotdog, fishball, crabstick, meat ball, noodles and some fruits... proud to say that i had learned how to 串鸡翼!!! we 烧，吃，烧，吃 X unlimited...

after dinner, two more program to go...
MTV session, each group were shown with part of the mv and ask to continue it by adding some element themselves...

Treasure Hunt, each group given a map and some clue.. they need to find the next clue and complete this task... they need to find their own roomkey before they go to sleep, means if this game didn't finished, they can't sleep... haha, cruel man...

another day, we were having some light and easy activity like singing, dancing, eating and photograph-ing...

*sometimes felt very boring because some MC were talking crap in front there, and too many time wasted for waiting this and waiting that... sienz lol!!!
at night, 7 person sleep together... our apartment was 'noisy' but fun... talking nonsense and crap!!! "睡觉啦"...

today is the last day of year 2007 and the day I return to campus for study... but those lecturer 'dissappoint' us since they didn't appear for the class for the first time this semester... bad impression but good for us since we can go back earlier than usual... knowing that not many people will turn out for today's class because tomorrow 1st of january 2008, a public holiday for everyone, but i still attend the class... no suprise in the school!!

everyone is going to countdown somewhere around KL - Sungai Wang, 1 Utama, but i didn't... I'm going home later... a bit dissappointment, a bit sad for not going to countdown but hope that i have this opportunity to do so for the coming days...

well, here wish everyone Happy New Year 2008 and do the best in this year!!! lots of entertainment for me so that i will not feel boring for the following year...

PC Fair 2007

What a holidays!!! I mean what a boring, boring and also boring holidays. Nothing to do, no friends find me to go out one person also don’t know where to go and do what??!

Last Saturday went to PC Fair, at KLCC. It took me an hour to reach there, first KTM, then LRT, going through 10 to 11 station. Lots of people, but didn’t meet any friends there… nowadays there are various kind electronic gadgets, from mobile phone to computer, laser printer, wireless router, mp3, mp4, PSP, digital camera, storing device and many more. The price for these also decreasing every year!!

After so many years, finally I get my own mp3 player. Although some people say it’s a bit expensive but I think that price equals quality. It’s a SONY mp3 with function like recording, listening to FM, as a storing device, and of course listening to music. Hmm, should be suitable and useful for a boring person like me!!!

Last Saturday night KLCC got another event - Rynn Lim concert. And he is promoting Sony latest digital camera!!

Third semester at UTM had finished, without realize that the time past like the speed of light. During the past one month, i'm having the same routine - study, eat, sleep, study, exam. Almost get crazy with those electrical subjects, but friends are supporting each others and also helping each other.

Anyway, it’s about my thought and feeling on the last day of mine exam. First, felt happy, exited and ready to go home since I didn’t went home for about three weeks. Second, some lonely and sad feeling appeared - since everybody is leaving for their hometown after the final paper. But before that, some of us still managed to organize a trip to The Curve, Damansara, having our “last dinner”.

damn free right now... lazy to study, just watching movie like 300 Spartans Warriors, Sumolah, Shinobi, XiWangZhiWang, MeiNuShiShen, HeYueQingRen, 300000 League Under the Sea and ...... during these few days... another two days to go before my last subject for this semester final exam... the last one is programming C++.. maybe need to write some program using function call, classes, oop and many many more... hope can handle it and do get an A for this three credit subject...

on the other hand... all my form six friends are having one of the biggest challenge in their life, STPM... which start from today till december something.. hope they can score and archieve what they want..

the Hari Raya is just around the corner, i'm currently having my holidays for 1 + 1/2 week. i wonder what will i do during these time and what should i do huring these holidays. Study? since next test, follow by final exam will on after raya.. or relax, watching movie or stuff that i collect nowadays in my external?? hmm... what's de decision?? dunno yet... then depends on my mood. when the times come and i may be doing something else... holidays = ZzzzZzzzz!!!

最近老是在发呆。。。这几天更是严重的连话都不想说。

老是在想，我的存在重要吗？如果这世界没有我会是怎样的呢？如果有一天我突然离开了大家，有人会很想知道我去了哪里吗？

haiz... 为什么我老是这个样子的呢？总是觉得自己是个不起眼的人，就像蜘蛛侠一样完成他的任务后就会去的无影无终,到最后还搞不懂是谁干得好事。在班上比起其他人，我的成绩不怎样，他人的成绩都好到无话可说，几乎都拿4.0,简直就是“掂”！

星期三那天，本来说好是我们同个course的朋友一起去唱K庆祝两位朋友的生日,但无端短缺多了几个"程咬金",搞到气氛有点不一样了。
我心里不自不觉地产生了一种很不爽的感觉,虽然我没说出来,但我当天的态度及反应反映了一切,相信大家都感觉得到。
至于原因呢?我也不知道为什么我会这么的不爽，可能使考试考傻了吧？！

难道我XXXX了?? 开始神志不清...

开心的是,我当天在Lowyat 的 RedBox遇见了老朋友。

Anyway,我还是在这祝我两位朋友生日快乐!!! Happy Birthday...

today i'm having my last test before hari raya... from last friday, my timetable was full with presentation, test, quiz, assignments and labtest.

Friday - English Presentation
Saturday - Circuit Thoery Test 3
Sunday - Programming C++ Test 2
Monday - Programming C++ Labtest
Tuesday - Calculus II Test 2

these few day study till 2 something in the morning... then went for class at 8am and continue with test, n back to hostel in the evening, damn tired.

even last week Mid-Autumn Festival also didn't went home, stay at hostel for study and also study.

anyway, after finished my test today, tomorrow will go sing K with coursemate plus celebrate someone birthday... Happy Birthday n Peace!!!

A minor Surgery

Monday afternoon, about 1 something, I went to Sungai Buluh Hospital for a minor surgery. Precisely, I went for plastic surgery on my face because there’s an unidentified object on it. This operation took about half an hour, after that I’m allowed to go home. When the op start, the doctor 打了三支麻醉针在我的face上, what the ****, damn hurt… then the doctor continue her job by removing that thing and put some stitches on it. After the op, I saw that object and its size was quite big, just slightly bigger than a ‘guli’. Shock about it!!!

The uncomfortable condition starts when I went home. Need to handle everything myself because nobody at home this week, means I’m alone at home. From today on, I should keep myself away from the sunlight for at least six weeks because doctor say I need to get ride from it to avoid any noticeable scare on my face. This Friday will going to pull out those stitches. Hope gets well soon. Ouch!!!

Area Inspection

This year St John Ambulance Malaysia KSTU area inspection was held at SMK Taman Ehsan. At 7a.m, all the KSTU member from Kepong Division, Taman Ehsan Division, Sri Aman Division, St Mary school, Damansara Division and few unknown school. (Sorry, dunno what the name is) gather here.
Then members all fold-in at the school field and wait for the VIP to arrive. Those VIP included a senator, our area commander, officers and the school principal. All the Grand Prior (GP) holders were seated behind the VIP seat and excluded from the fold-in, and I’m one of them.
GP holders were rewarded a token, presented by the senator, in front of the hundred ++ members. So be proud of myself with this achievement although I’m doesn’t active in this society anymore, but sometimes I still feel like want to keep active and do something useful to the community.
Like what St John teach me, “Service for Mankind”.The inspection finished four hours later. Everyone was served with a pack of noodle. THE END.

PMB One-Day Camp

Saturday 11.08.2007

This week I didn’t went home, again... it’s the second consecutive week I do so due to test… last week I went to pc fair and this week I joined an one-day camp. It’s held by PMB, stands for Persatuan Mahasiswa Buddha, at a house-look temple, at Sri Rampai, which is not far from my hostel.

This activity starts nine something in the morning until six in the evening. At first we start it with some interesting game like dancing with music. Guessing game with group member act with each other and the last person will guess the answer. Then the newspaper game, a game which require teamwork and some strategy. Resting for ten minutes later, it’s the sandwich making session, each group need to make some sandwich with a loaf of bread, provided with ingredient like tomato, cabbage and cucumber. Then we need to eat and finished it within 3 minutes. Continue with singing around…

About 1.00p.m, it’s time for lunch. Of course it’s vegetarian food only but still tastes good. Thanks for prepared the meal for us, 师父!

After meal, have a rest, we continue the singing session. About two something, it’s the ‘ceramah’ session by师父… during this conversation, I had noticed something important. S.H.A.R.E is important among people. We should share good things to others, take this opportunity share something important. In short sentence, SHARE is good!!!

After师父 gave some useful advice for us, it’s another session, host by 师兄. This time he told us the biography of 如来神. Although it’s a long stories, but it’s interesting.

About 5.30p.m, this camp had officially finished. Before jump into the bus, we take the opportunity to take a group photo. Thanks again for everyone effort to make this camp a successful one.

Grand prior award

It’s 29th of July 2007, today is a historical day. It’s a day that i waited for more than five years, the Grand Prior presentation day at Crystal Crown Hotel, Klang. So what is Grand Prior (GP)? GP is one of the highest achievement for a St john member and a badge that I wanted for so long since I join St John from form 1.

To obtain this badge, first you need to go through many test and exam to get at least 12 probadge (each probadge represent different kind of skills, like cookery, fire fighting, casualty simulation and many more). There’s a limit, each year we can only get four badges, so to collect these, i had spend more than three to four years. After that, we still need to wait approval from this and that...

finally, I have own the badge now, but I also doesn't active in this society anymore, maybe because nobody inform me what happen around the society, what event is happening or any occasion that I can join...

"Navigate Your Career"

This is the program that I take part during this Wednesday... it's a program that will give guidance and advice for you to get a job, how to make use of your soft skills to attract people’s attention towards you. Personally I think it's an interesting program and it's worth to take part in it.

this program does attract peoples attention and many people were participant in it. i had queue for more than half an hour for the registration. I'm in group G, which is different with all of my friends. the main theme for today is "speech and presentation". First of all. we were divide into six groups, each group consists of ten person.

The first game is call "Tiger, Gun, Human"

Gun can kill tiger, tiger can kill human, human can kill gun (because human is bullet proof)... played by two groups of people, team A versus team B, just like ‘剪刀，石头，布’

The second one is like a task, we were given 30 minutes to design an airplane, and then do a presentation to sell our plane to our customer... just like representing a company and sell a product.

We were provided with masking tape, penknife, a polystyrene board and a box of crayon. The plane will be judge from its functional, strong structure and also the creativity of its design. My group had won this task after several tests.

Throughout this program, i had learned something new.

In order to do a task or complete a task, we need to make a good decision. with a good decision, we will have good question, followed by good answer, good knowledge in this topic. And of course, the most important is communicating skills.

After this program, there's a tea-time session and we also received a goodies bag (a t-shirt and some booklet) and also a certificate.

Today is Wednesday, I’m having my workshop for subject digital. It’s a workshop which gives you a chance to play with those electronic components. And today was the first class. During the class, we need to set up or build a circuit which consists of some wire, integrated circuit (IC), pulse switch and a voltmeter. I’m a bit frustrated when I can’t complete the first circuit after try, try and try, finally get the output and done my lab report. It takes me more than three hours to complete it. What the ****!!?
Actually today want to donate blood but didn’t do it, just because everyone had go back after class and nobody go with me… I think maybe this afternoon I will go… FIRST BLOOD!!! Ops, it should be DOUBLE KILL since this is my second time…

Everyday is a tiring day since my class had start, especially Monday and Tuesday class from morning nine till evening six with only an-hour break time for lunch. summore classes are damn boring cause everything was taught in theory and doesn't seem interesting at all... really tired!!!

Recently there's a hot topic in the Mcorner's forum, the Gathering of 5 Murni and 5 Mulia student on 27.7.2007, it will be on Friday night. i think it should be interesting since this is the first time there's a big reunion for us and I’m looking forward to it. Hope everyone could enjoy themselves and meet with some old friends. See Ya!!

Class start again…

After more than two months of holidays, finally I’m back to U, beginning as a second-year student and studying for my third semester. Subject for this semester is Software Engineering, Circuit Theory, Digital Electronic, Etika Profesional, Calculus 2, English for Professional Communication and a 3-hours workshop each week. Looks like need to spend more time on studying now…

Starting from this semester, my section got only eleven Chinese guys and girls because four guys had changed their course and section. I’m among the four guys who remain here. But the environment here stills the same, dominating by Malay.

It’s sad to say that this year there are around 50 first-year junior only, two of them is from my course. I wonder why this could happen… is it lack of Chinese student apply to enter UTM or they are not chosen or any other reason?? Curious la…

The one and currently the only good thing is that I no need to wake up early or compete with others to ride the bas to campus since lots of my friends have their own car. I can ‘tumpang’ them to campus…

Back to hostel

Today is Sunday, which I need to go back to hostel, register and check-in. Now I have a new environment, new room and new roommate (still unknown cause haven’t appear yet). My new room still located at Block B, but its third floor, the third room (B-3-03).

I went to hostel at 10.30 morning with my family and my aunts. Arrived there about eleven something and straight away went to the office to register first. After getting my room key, it’s time to unpack all the stuff that I bring along. If compare to last year, I didn’t bring much things cause last year I felt that my room was very untidy, especially my table.

Hope I will get a good roommate or I can own whole room… ha-ha-ha…

I did a lot of thing today.

Task1.

I went back to school and pass something to my friends. It’s quite hard for me to went back because I didn’t have a car to drive there, and if I have a car I also can’t drive cause my driving license had expired two weeks ago and I haven’t renew it. At first I want to take a bus from my house, Sri Damansara to Kepong but this idea didn’t work because I didn’t even know where is the bus station at my housing estate and didn’t know the actual time the bus arrive. So no choice but to ask my aunt sends me there.

Task2.

Then I had walked all the way from my secondary-school to a bus station near “lou chin tuition centre”. From here I take a bus to Metro Prima, Kepong Jusco to watch ‘TRANSFORMERS’. I settle my lunch here with a set of chicken chop at KFC. The chicken was OK, the fried was OK but the mushroom soup was NOT OK… tastes bad…

The movie starts from 2.00pm and finished at 4 something...

after walked around the shopping complex, I went back to Taman Ehsan with bus again…

Task3.

After that, I walked to YH’s house to take some stuff from him… coincidently, I met GS here, both of them doing math… at here, I thanks to YH for the food, drinks and a car ride.

Finally I went home with the entire task above completed.

Well, today I received a call from Kolej Kedua (K2). They had approve my appeal for the hostel and told me to register on Sunday. I’m very very very happy with this because a big problem had been solved. No need to worry about where I should stay for the following study-year. Hope will get a good roommate and get a nice location room!!!

我相信大家都知道这是什么一回事吧！没错，这又是一通电话欺骗案。当我接到这类电话，以我的性格当然是把电话给盖上，因为我不想听‘她’讲废话．

其实这是第三次接到类似的电话：-

第一次，这是吉隆坡高级法庭，你在X月X日X年未能出庭审讯一宗XXX诈骗案，现给予警告，并在X月X日X年再次出庭。如有询问，请按9．

由于很好奇，所以按9，听到一个人说话后我就盖掉了．

第二次，哈罗！请问你会说华语吗？

我一直与这位人士哈罗了好几次，然后以广东话回答她，最后挂上电话．

第三次，这是吉隆坡高级法庭，你在六月十八日未能出庭．．．

当她还未说完，我又盖了电话。

dunno why those cheater still want to try again and again... especially when these kind of cheating tactic had been know by peoples... but on the other hands, we still see this kind of circumstances occur around us. Hope people won’t fool by these cheater…

A reward of RM1,000 has been offered for the "safe" return of the life-sized statue of Homer Simpson, which was stolen on Monday.

The statue was stolen from the GCS at the 1 Utama Shopping Complex after the late night movie screening ended about 3am.

The 1.2-metre tall Homer statue was placed alongside other Simpsons statues at a display couch.

About three more weeks to go before the new semester start, I’m looking forward to it because new semester, new challenge. And of course, can’t wait to meet with those new faces in the campus. There’s an event that im very exited to take part, it's the PMB's camp, a yearly activity for first, second and third-year chinese student which allow us to have fun with each other. this year the camp will be held at Kuala Selangor.

well, i really enjoy my first-year here.

- get to know friends from all around M'sia.

- learn something new --> electric circuit, digital electronic, titas, programming and…

- one and only place that can visit when u r free, the library, PSZ

- get chance to shock by electric

- staying at hostel allow us to play LAN game, Wi-Fi for us to access to the internet, and delicious supper at the cafe.

- my room number at the hostel was B-4-21, and my birthday is 21st of April... unbelievable??? Believe it...

But for the new semester, I still haven't confirm where to stay, because until now I haven't receive any letter from kolej. Hope that I can get kolej!!!
